World Read Aloud Day

February 5 is World Read Aloud Day, founded by LitWorld to celebrate and spread the word about the importance of reading aloud to children.

Reading with children is very important because it:

  • Stimulates imagination, concentration, and listening
  • Promotes brain development
  • Helps improve language skills
  • Facilitates understanding of the world

To celebrate, we are launching #funreadsfeb! For the rest of the month we will be sharing tips on reading with children.

If you are a parent or anyone with a child in your life that you can read to, keep an eye out for more tips coming soon!

More tips coming soon!
