These brave young girls hold reading sessions in secret locations to avoid retribution. They risk fines and other persecution if they’re caught.

The most challenging part of our daily experience is that we see how other girls at the same age of us are attending their schools around the world but we have no other option instead of staying at home and watching our dark future. There are many reasons that we want to learn, I am mentioning a few of them here:
- Education is our basic human right- our prophet Mohammad has started learning with an Arabic word AQRA which means to learn and this word was conveyed to him from Allah.
- Nowadays we can easily find the difference between an educated and non educate person that most of the non educated people are going to join terrorists and how dangerous they are, I am a Hazara girl in Afghanistan and I lost thousands of my people here because they wanted to educate and the Taliban exploded in our education centers and schools, and the reason I think is that they don’t know education will lead us to a bright future.
- The last one I want to become a beneficial person to the people around the world and help others.
If I could have access to books again…
I am hopeful and sometimes it seems impossible, I am hopeful that one day these challenging moments will get over and I will go back to school with friends. If I had enough books, a laptop I would try to join online classes and would try to motivate other girls and after I finished my books I would give them to other girls and would encourage them to study and be hopeful.

It’s so much fun being a kid, but sometimes I face a few challenges. One of the tough things is when my older siblings or friends read really cool stuff, and I feel left out because I can’t join in on the fun. Sometimes, understanding instructions or following stories in school can also be hard for me.
I really want to learn how to read better or improve my reading skills because I see my friends having a blast when they read amazing books and comics. I want to join them in all those exciting adventures too! Reading seems like a special power that helps you learn so many cool things about the world. It’s like being able to explore anything you want in your own secret way.
Also, I want to be more independent and not have to ask my parents or teachers to read things for me all the time. I’m ready to practice and work hard to become a great reader! It’s like finding a treasure chest full of fantastic stories and knowledge, and I’m super excited to start this journey!

It would be super cool to read exciting stories, learn about different places and animals, and even explore magical worlds in fantasy books. I also hope to become more confident in my abilities and feel proud of myself for being able to read on my own.

Two years ago She was class 7th at School and She was very happy that she is struggling for her future and she wanted to become a Doctor in the future. We always encouraged and she promised us that her struggles one day will give a result that will change our whole family life.
The Government banned Girls’ education above grade 6 and till now Madina is at home and she is not able to go to school and has lost all her hopes and ambitions. Madina says this dark situation destroyed our happiness and there is no hope for the future. Madina says I can not go to School and can not join any courses but I only read my favorite books and home and it is not enough.
Madina still did not lose her hope and she is self-studying at home.
